[QUESTION INAUDIBLE]

MICHAEL MCCORMACK:

Oh well welcome to regional Australia. I mean, they don't often venture over the Great Divide. Here he is, Anthony Albanese delivering the speech in the electorate of man – the Member for Hunter –who's so concerned about Labor’s continued and consistent failure to deliver anything for regional Australia, he set up his own factional group with a sole aim of changing Labor's direction. Today’s speech is a weak attempt by Albanese to rest back internal control of the Labor Party and just another sign that they've learnt nothing, absolutely nothing since May 18 and you know, he might go into Singleton and make a few comments today. He'll say exactly the opposite in Balmain and the trendy suburbs like Leichhardt when he's back in his own electorate.

This is what Labor does. They say one thing in the metropolitan areas, they say a complete other in regional Australia. And whilst Anthony Albanese and the Member for Hunter keep fighting about who should be running The Labor Party, I’ll keep providing for regional communities across Australia. Delivering for them. That's my focus. Always has been, always will be. I mean, here’s Joel Fitzgibbon. He had such a reputation prior to the election, he was called “No Coal Joel”. He got such a such a fright that he nearly lost his seat and now all of a sudden he's discovered that, you know, there is coal, there are workers and they need protecting. We've never forgot that. We've never as Nationals forgot that and we don't ever forget farmers either. We can have both. We can deliver for both and that's exactly what we're doing.

[QUESTION INAUDIBLE]

MICHAEL MCCORMACK:

They'll see a man who's pushed around by The Greens who's just really saying one thing in regional Australia but meaning a total, total different thing. I mean, you can't believe what Labor, you can't believe the message they have. Believe what they do, not what they say. That’s so typical of Labor. When they come out to regional Australia either before an election or when they are running a bit scared, they’ll say whatever it takes, but country people know that if they want somebody to deliver it's going to be The Nationals. If they want somebody to produce outcomes for them, it's going to be The Nationals because we've done it for 100 years. Labor, well they've been letting regional Australia down and country people down for 100 years as well.
